Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as senior enterprise architecture authority for CIB Asia Pacific, providing strategic direction and trusted advisory support to leadership and stakeholders.
  • •Own enterprise architecture strategy, roadmap, target-state direction, and architecture plan for the aligned remit, ensuring alignment with HSBC strategy and Group practices.
  • •Provide overarching design authority for major business and technology change initiatives through governance and approval forums.
  • •Lead enterprise and portfolio architecture across multi-domain programmes, value streams, BGIs, platforms, and markets, supporting a coherent change portfolio.
  • •Oversee creation of key architecture artefacts and lifecycle oversight, identify dependencies/integration points/constraints/risks, and drive architecture simplification, modernization, resilience, and sustainability.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive IT architecture experience, including enterprise architecture and senior architecture leadership roles.
  • •Operate at Principal Enterprise Architect level (or comparable senior enterprise architecture leadership) in large, complex organizations.
  • •Strong Corporate and Investment Banking experience with resilience, risk, control, regulatory, and governance understanding.
  • •Experience defining enterprise architecture strategy, target-state roadmaps, and architecture standards across business, regional, or enterprise remits.
  • •Demonstrated design authority and strategic oversight across large-scale, cross-domain transformation initiatives.
