Job Summary

Join the R&D team to ensure the productivity, reliability, and accuracy of new Fortinet product lines. You will review requirements, create test plans, design detailed test specifications, and develop automated scripts/tools to evaluate devices, protocols, interfaces, and applications. You’ll identify and document issues, debug and reproduce customer problems with developers, assess release readiness by monitoring risks, and create documentation and training for knowledge transfer.

•Research, discuss, and review new product features with the development team.
•Design, write, and manually run test cases across each product development stage.
•Identify, report, and document product issues in the bug tracking system; debug and reproduce customer issues with developers.
•Develop test tools and automated scripts to enhance development efficiency and support product function testing and debugging.
•Monitor and report product development risks to determine release readiness; contribute to work assistance systems and create documentation/training materials.

Salary: USD 166,000 - 214,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience); advanced degree preferred.
•Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, with preference for automation development/testing experience.
•Strong understanding of test processes and methodologies, including test case design, failure scenario documentation, and problem isolation.
•Knowledge of networking/security technologies including Firewall, IPSec, SSL, IdP, BGP, SDWAN, and TCP/IP.
•Experience with Python (3+ years) and Robot Framework for functional test scripts.
