Job Summary

Experienced CEI Landscape Inspector for transportation infrastructure projects in the Sarasota, FL area. Perform field inspections, plant identification and soil analysis, ensure conformance to project specifications, and coordinate with contractors to deliver timely landscape installations. Prepare detailed inspection reports, support QA/maintenance planning, and contribute to pre-construction reviews.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform daily field inspections and maintain inspection records
•Identify, classify, and grade nursery plants per the Florida manual "Grades and Standards for Nursery Plants"
•Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of landscape installation projects
•Prepare detailed reports on landscape inspections with photographic documentation and recommendations for corrective actions
•Assist in developing and implementing maintenance plans for newly installed landscapes to ensure long-term success

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 29 - 35 hourly

•High School Diploma plus 4 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
•U.S. Citizenship is required
•Valid US Driver’s License required to regularly drive AECOM vehicles to project sites. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review
•Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available for this position
•Preferred: FDOT Intermediate MOT or Certified Landscape Technician, Knowledgeable of current Florida Department of Transportation methods for landscape and irrigation installation
