Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate proactively with a distributed team.
  • •Develop and maintain open-source AI/ML inference application packages (Inference Snaps).
  • •Debug issues and produce high-quality code to fix them.
  • •Review code from upstream and/or other Canonical engineers and discuss solutions.
  • •Securely deploy and optimize AI inference platforms on Linux, experimenting with Ubuntu Core.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •At least 3 years of professional software development using Go or C++.
  • •Experience developing applications for Linux.
  • •Interest and experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and/or Snap/Debian/RPM packaging.
  • •Experience with CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and Bash scripting.
  • •Bachelor’s (or equivalent) in Computer Science, STEM, or similar degree.
