Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute Workiva’s integrated global communications strategy, translating company strategy, AI innovation, product value, regulatory trends, and customer momentum into narratives.
  • •Serve as trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team, building executive thought leadership platforms, handling media prep, speechwriting, and executive social strategy.
  • •Lead external communications, PR/media management, corporate announcements, awards, thought leadership, and oversee press releases, briefing materials, and Q&A assets.
  • •Own global crisis communications and issues readiness in partnership with Legal, Security, People & Culture, Investor Relations, and external agencies.
  • •Lead and develop a team of 3–5 communications professionals, manage external agency relationships, and establish operating rhythms, governance, and measurable KPIs.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years of progressive communications experience, including senior leadership experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise technology, or similarly complex global businesses.
  • •Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Proven track record leading enterprise communications in a $1B+ revenue public or late-stage global B2B SaaS company.
  • •Exceptional business acumen and gravitas, with experience advising CEOs, CFOs, and Board members.
  • •Experience establishing communications KPIs that tie PR/public affairs and executive positioning directly to corporate strategy and RO.
