Job Summary

Perform project-specific inspections and expediting activities for skid-mounted rotating equipment and related packages, following the supplier’s Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and direction from the Inspection & Expediting Coordinator. Conduct witness/hold/monitor/review activities, lead pre-inspection meetings, review supplier inspection procedures and documentation, issue inspection and non-conformity reports, and expedite corrective actions. Support vendor evaluation, audits, and progress reviews across supplier fabrication schedules.

Key Responsibilities

•Carry out project-specific inspections and release of materials per the supplier’s Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and instructions from the Inspection & Expediting Coordinator.
•Conduct witness, hold, monitor, and review activities during shop inspection and testing of equipment and materials.
•Review supplier ITPs and inspection/testing procedures against purchase order, job specifications, codes/standards, and statutory regulations; prepare inspection reports.
•Issue Vendor Non-Conformity Reports (VNCR) and expedite their close-out, including expediting corrective actions for fabrication or delivery problems.
•Perform vendor evaluation for qualification/inclusion in the Wood Global Vendor List, including vendor QC system audits/surveillance and progress/fabrication schedule reviews.

Key Requirements

•University Degree or Technical Diploma.
•At least 10 years of experience inspecting and testing rotating equipment skid mounted, machineries, and packages.
•Certified Level 2 Operator for non-destructive testing (PT, MT, UT, RT) per UNI EN ISO 9712 or equivalent international standards.
•Working knowledge of relevant rotating equipment standards including API 610, API 611, API 612, API 613, API 616, API 617, API 618, API 673, and API 681.
•Knowledge of quality management systems including ISO 9001, plus good planning and proactive quality control issue resolution.
