Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive, store, issue, package, crate, and ship aircraft parts, assemblies, tools, kits, and hazardous materials.
  • •Assure proper handling and packaging of hazardous materials per established domestic and international rules and regulations.
  • •Operate material-handling and packaging equipment (e.g., powered lifts, overhead hoists, conveyors, power saws, pneumatic nail guns, and banding tools) and work in high places when needed.
  • •Maintain inventory records and accountability by operating Microsoft Windows and mainframe computing; ensure inventory accuracy and part integrity.
  • •Verify shipping label and packing slip accuracy, sort and route freight to appropriate areas, and fabricate/pack shipping containers.

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to carry up to 15 lbs and occasionally up to 35 lbs.
