Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform Oracle database installations, upgrades, migrations, cloning, refresh activities, and patching using RU, one-off patches, and Grid Infrastructure patches.
  • •Administer Oracle RAC environments and troubleshoot Oracle Clusterware, OCR, Voting Disk, ASM, RAC services, SCAN listeners, and Grid Infrastructure issues.
  • •Manage backup and recovery with RMAN, including backup validation, restore/recovery, PITR, and disaster recovery testing.
  • •Administer Oracle Data Guard/Active Data Guard for high availability and perform planned/unplanned switchover and failover, including troubleshooting transport and role transition failures.
  • •Implement database automation and monitoring using Shell, Python, and Ansible; support Oracle GoldenGate installation/configuration and perform RCA with preventive and corrective actions.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 7 years hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration and production support environments.
  • •Strong administration experience with Oracle Database 19c, plus exposure to Oracle 26ai.
  • •Hands-on experience supporting Oracle RAC clusters (2-node through 5-node), including Oracle Clusterware, OCR, Voting Disk, ASM, RAC services, and SCAN listeners.
  • •Extensive experience with RMAN backup/recovery (validation, restore/recovery, PITR, and disaster recovery testing).
  • •Strong automation and scripting experience using Shell, Python, Ansible (or similar) for database administration, monitoring, patching, provisioning, and backup/recovery.
