Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide outsourced MLRO/MLCO services to clients and advise on applicable laws, regulations, rules, standards, and regulatory reporting.
  • •Act as a contact point in the Client Compliance Services Team for Compliance inquiries.
  • •Maintain the PEP register, authorise PEP transaction clearance, and provide PEP regulatory reporting.
  • •Conduct transaction monitoring and quality control/quality assurance with associated reporting, including monthly outsourcing oversight and QC testing for offshore AML services.
  • •Identify, measure, and document Compliance risk to enhance risk assessments; guide clients on policies and procedures to minimize significant Compliance risk and serve as a subject matter expert for regulatory Compliance matters.

Key Requirements

  • •In-depth knowledge of applicable GFSC laws and regulations, supported by formal education and several years of work experience in risk management or compliance.
  • •Analytical and communication skills to consult with clients at board level and internal partners, analyse and summarise information, and apply laws and regulations to the business.
  • •Experience operating independently with in-depth knowledge of Compliance risk avoidance.
  • •Ability to interact with business partners, regulators, and internal and external auditors on regulatory topics.
  • •Ability to mentor junior employees and review the work of others.
