Lead HSBC’s US Business Credit Office for the International Middle Market, delivering corporate/institutional banking strategy in alignment with risk appetite. Key Responsibilities

•Deliver business strategy aligned with Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) priorities, focusing on HSBC’s International Middle Market team and corporate clients.
•Provide value-add advice by building strategic customer relationships and coordinating across CIB relationship bankers, product partners, and risk stewards.
•Adhere to HSBC policies, procedures, and control requirements, and raise concerns promptly using reporting and escalation procedures.
•Ensure actions account for operational risk likelihood and address areas of concern with Risk and relevant colleagues.
•Lead credit engagement activities, including credit analysis, credit paper development, and delivering recommendations using expert judgment within internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

•Demonstrated in-depth corporate banking underwriting expertise, with a strong track record covering international mid-market clients and related banking products and services.
•Strong structuring and credit underwriting experience.
•Thorough understanding of associated credit and risk profile for transactions with international mid-market companies.
•Ability to analyze situations effectively and make well thought-out decisions.
•Lead credit engagement to help relationship managers optimize relationship value and deliver needs-based solutions and fair customer outcomes.
