Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain BridgeBio’s long-range strategic plan, translating mission, pipeline, and commercial trajectory into a rigorous view of where the company is going and how it gets there.
  • •Own the annual strategic planning framework, aligning cross-functional leadership and producing outputs that guide resource allocation and prioritization.
  • •Drive goal-setting and operational planning processes (including OKRs or equivalent) connecting enterprise strategy to affiliate and functional execution.
  • •Partner with R&D, regulatory, commercial, and affiliate leadership to evaluate and prioritize the pipeline, assess portfolio risk/opportunity/fit, and stress-test affiliate strategic plans.
  • •Lead development of Board-level strategy presentations and investor-facing strategy materials, partnering with Strategic Finance (incl. IR) to ensure strategic narrative alignment.

Key Requirements

  • •8 to 12+ years of experience in strategic planning, management consulting, or investment banking with meaningful exposure to biopharmaceutical or life sciences.
  • •Substantive biotech/pharma experience, including how pipeline assets are valued and how rare-disease competitive dynamics work.
  • •Experience developing and presenting Board-level strategy materials.
  • •Analytical strength with financial modeling and scenario analysis, plus strong synthesis and storytelling.
  • •Advanced degree strongly preferred (MBA, PhD, MD, or equivalent).
