Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and evolve the AI orchestration layer, building durable, fault-tolerant agentic workflows using Temporal activities and ReAct reasoning loops powered by pydantic-ai and Claude
  • •Deliver features across the complete lifecycle—from design and prototyping through implementation, testing, CI/CD deployment, and post-launch monitoring
  • •Uphold engineering excellence via code reviews, comprehensive tests (unit, integration, Playwright end-to-end), observability, and monorepo workspace standards
  • •Mentor mid-level and junior engineers in async Python, pydantic-ai agent design, and clean, testable architectures
  • •Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, legal domain experts, and frontend engineers to translate attorney workflows into reliable, high-impact AI-powered features

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of professional backend development experience with expert-level mastery of Python (3.12+), async/await, FastAPI, and Pydantic v2
  • •Proven production experience building complex, distributed systems—ideally including durable workflow orchestration (Temporal or equivalent), message queues, or event-driven architectures
  • •Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate agentic design decisions, reliability trade-offs, and LLM behavior to non-technical stakeholders and cross-functional partners
  • •Growth mindset with a collaborative approach, mentoring others, and a track record of delivering high-impact features end-to-end in fast-moving production environments
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred — equivalent experience, certifications, or demonstrated expertise with a strong production track record considered equally
