Job Summary

Help ensure safety and a great guest experience during live events by guarding and patrolling the venue, monitoring entrances/exits, screening for prohibited items, and addressing rule violations. You’ll also greet guests, scan tickets, answer questions, assist with seating and special needs, guide guests during emergencies, and help keep the venue clean and presentable. Duties may include reporting daily activity and supporting post-show closeout and recycling efforts.

Key Responsibilities

•Guard, patrol, and/or monitor venue premises to prevent theft, violence, and rule infractions, including possible metal detector operation.
•Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons to maintain security and safety.
•Patrol for intrusion signs and help secure doors, windows, and gates; escort or drive individuals as needed.
•Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent prohibited items from entering restricted areas.
•Serve as an usher/greeter/ticket taker: greet guests, scan tickets, answer questions, assist with seating and special needs, handle complaints, and guide guests during emergencies; help with cleaning, reporting, and post-show closeout/recycling.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
•At least 1+ year in a guest service role (preferred).
•Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
•Strong judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
•Ability to do constant walking, climb stairs, occasionally sit, and lift/carry 25 lbs.+.
