Job Summary

Join AMD’s Computing & Graphic group in Penang as a Post-Silicon Power and Performance Staff Engineer. Key Responsibilities

•Own power/performance characterization for selected SoC features
•Drive cross-site debug with Austin, Penang, and Shanghai teams
•Mentor junior engineers in lab setup, analysis workflows, and correlation methods
•Deliver insights that influence firmware and architecture decisions
•Develop test plans in collaboration with architects, firmware, and IP-specific engineering teams to ensure products meet or exceed performance targets

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical or computer engineering
•Experience validating power or performance features of CPUs, GPUs, or APUs using automated testflow execution
•Experience developing automated test procedures
•Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed, multi-site organization
•Knowledge of data acquisition and thermal equipment and how to apply it to automation
