Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop highly reliable, real-time software to run on gateways, satellites, user terminals, and switches for a low-latency, high-capacity network.
  • •Participate in and lead architecture, design, and code reviews.
  • •Develop prototypes and manage experiments to prove key design concepts.
  • •Build tools for software development/deployment, data analysis and visualization, and test execution across virtualized hardware, real hardware-in-the-loop, and on-orbit testing.
  • •Deploy software and test/data analysis as part of continuous integration and release.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or science, or 2+ years of professional software development experience in lieu of a degree.
  • •Development experience in C, C++, or assembly.
  • •Experience with application development and distributed systems architecture in a Linux environment.
  • •Strong first-principles problem-solving with the ability to design bug-free, maintainable software.
  • •Experience with networking protocols (UDP, TCP/IP, etc) and distributed systems.
