Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Organise the daily work programme to ensure that the department runs efficiently.
  • •Work flexible hours if required to accommodate changing workload patterns of the Mammography service.
  • •Perform high quality examinations as required by referring physicians according to departmental policies and procedures.
  • •Ensure that all patients being imaged receive a very high standard of care.
  • •Accurately analyse the acquired data, record results and produce high quality images for reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •BSc or DCR in Radiography and a Post Graduate Certificate in Mammography; must be UK registered and qualified Mammographer
  • •Flexible and adaptive working attitude with initiative to respond to service needs and streamline patient pathways
  • •Ability to work autonomously within a multi-disciplinary clinic team and to report to a clinical lead
  • •Commitment to quality and compliance policies, practices and standards in the clinic
  • •Experience organizing daily work programmes and maintaining high standards of patient care
