Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and perform specialist immunology laboratory techniques including cell isolation/enrichment, culture and phenotyping, and multi-colour flow cytometry and cell sorting.
  • •Conduct molecular and epigenetic analyses including DNA/RNA extraction, TSDR analysis, and PCR methods (real time and endpoint).
  • •Manage sample administration and preparation, ensuring correct storage, traceability, and process timelines, including material transfer agreement initiation when required.
  • •Identify and resolve instrument and technique-related problems; maintain accurate records and interpret results and make recommendations to service users/collaborators.
  • •Maintain and monitor facility quality and compliance (GCLP/GCP as appropriate), perform day-to-day record maintenance, and support health and safety duties including training staff on equipment use.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 33,002 - 35,608 annually
