Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and contribute to the design and engineering of protection and control systems for HV substations, including protection schemes and substation automation.
  • •Define protection philosophies, control architectures, and communication interfaces, and ensure integration with SCADA interfaces, communication networks, and primary equipment.
  • •Review detailed secondary engineering deliverables (schematics, control logic, relay configuration/functional design, and protection coordination/relay settings).
  • •Perform or review protection coordination studies and relay settings to ensure proper selectivity and fault-clearing strategies.
