Key Responsibilities

  • •Research AI safety developments across academia and industry and identify limitations in existing evaluation paradigms.
  • •Design and continuously refine safety evaluation frameworks for multimodal models to assess safety behaviors, failure modes, and alignment with responsible AI principles.
  • •Support projects that enforce safety training or evaluate safety data, including analysis to uncover insights for model iteration and product design improvements.
  • •Design, test, and implement automated workflows and methodologies to improve scalability, efficiency, and coverage within safety contexts.
  • •Support safety policy research, safety data generation, data analysis, and validation of evaluation framework methodologies.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in AI Policy, Public Policy, Political Science, International Relations, Law, Philosophy, or a related discipline.
  • •Strong analytical skills to interpret qualitative and quantitative data and turn it into clear insights.
  • •Creative problem-solving mindset, comfort working under ambiguity, and ability to leverage tools and technology to improve processes and outputs.
  • •Experience in AI safety, Trust & Safety, risk consulting, or risk management is highly desirable.
  • •Prior experience building scalable, automated workflows (including prompt engineering, agent skills, and automated data generation pipelines) is preferred.
