Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheet and profit & loss schedules and consolidated final accounts in accordance with IFRS.
  • •Conduct variance analysis and detailed reviews to support reporting accuracy.
  • •Produce and analyze ad hoc management information requests and maintain consolidated reporting readiness.
  • •Prepare and review pre-close and post-close journals and support month-end closure activities.
  • •Collaborate with external auditors during preliminary and year-end audit procedures and manage day-to-day interactions with the in-country team.

Key Requirements

  • •Chartered Accountant or Postgraduate or MBA with post-qualification experience of 5+ years in finance and accounting.
  • •Alternative experience path: B.Com/M.Com/CA (inter)/CWA (inter) with 8+ years of work experience.
  • •Strong knowledge of IFRS and prior experience in financial accounting and reporting.
  • •Very strong Excel skills to interpret high data volumes and facilitate automation.
  • •Good working knowledge of month-end closure, ideally in the banking sector, with meticulous attention to detail.
