Key Responsibilities

  • •Represent Esri as the subject matter expert in the ports and maritime market, including knowledge of port operations, berth planning, vessel traffic management, environmental compliance, security, dredging, and inter-agency coordination
  • •Position Esri as a thought leader in the port and maritime industry through industry associations and conferences
  • •Forecast and evaluate industry trends and develop solutions and messages to address key business issues and growth opportunities
  • •Develop, manage, and execute a comprehensive global marketing strategy for the port and maritime domain
  • •Develop and execute industry marketing plans to grow the use of GIS in transportation and support the GIS user community

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of demonstrated leadership and practical experience in a transportation discipline focused on the port and maritime market
  • •Strong GIS experience as it relates to transportation, including port/maritime planning, environmental compliance, port engineering and operations, and inter-agency coordination
  • •Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, inspire, and achieve goals
  • •In-depth knowledge of development issues and workflows using GIS in the port/maritime domain
  • •Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
