Location: United States
Workplace: Onsite
Employment Type: Full time
Job Function: IT Operations (Systems/Network Admin)
Seniority: Mid level

Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive the perception system architecture and requirements baseline, decomposing mission needs into detection/range/field-of-regard/latency/availability requirements and tracing to test evidence.
  • •Own the sensor suite baseline and configuration across aircraft platforms, including modalities/part numbers, installation locations, and interfaces to programs and airframes.
  • •Set and defend the sensing performance model using detection probability and false alarm rate, built from radiometry/detector performance and reconciled against flight test results.
  • •Lead verification and validation for perception, including verification plans, bench and hardware-in-the-loop coverage, sensor characterization, flight test objectives, data collection, and the evidence package.
  • •Provide technical authority at design and gate reviews, represent the team externally as an authority on airborne sensing, and lead sensor trades and modularity/reuse across platforms.
