Key Responsibilities

  • •Adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules, procedures, and daily workplace inspections.
  • •Install, align, take apart, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment using hoists, lift trucks, and power tools.
  • •Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during installation, setup, and repair.
  • •Inspect, examine, troubleshoot, and maintain power transmission and mechanical systems (including vacuum, hydraulic, pneumatic systems and programmable logic controls).
  • •Coordinate with operators, engineering, trades, and supervision using the Maintenance Order System, including estimating material costs and labour hours.

Key Requirements

  • •Journeyperson Millwright or 7+ years of proven heavy industrial maintenance experience (e.g., pumps, conveyors, welding, alignment, heavy rigging, compressors, crushers, sag/ball mills).
  • •Ability to work with engineered drawings and follow layouts, blueprints, and other drawings.
  • •Strong safety focus and ability to adhere to high safety and environmental standards.
  • •Team player with good communication skills and ability to perform tasks with limited direction.
  • •Experience working outdoors with potential extreme climate exposure; ability to obtain a valid driver license is desirable.
