Identify suspicious transactions, follow compliance regulations, and cross-sell bank products by referring customers to the right personnel.

Key Responsibilities

•Process customer deposits by receiving and verifying checks and cash, examining endorsements, and requesting required identification.
•Cash checks and pay out funds by verifying signatures and confirming funds availability.
•Provide transaction receipts and assist customers with inquiries about account information and bank products, via phone or in person.
•Balance and maintain accuracy by counting and balancing currency, coins, and checks daily and balancing the cash drawer and vault returns.
•Cross-sell bank products, refer customers to appropriate personnel, and identify and report suspicious transactions while following compliance requirements.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Six (6) months of related experience, particularly in cash handling and customer interaction.
•Excellent customer service skills from previous experience assisting customers and handling requests.
•Excellent communication skills.
•Knowledge of basic accounting, including reviewing numerical information and balancing; ability to accurately count and handle cash.
