Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, and maintain Java services for encounter data processing and CMS submissions (EDI X12).
  • •Build and optimize high-throughput batch and file-processing pipelines for EDI submission and response handling (837, 277CA, 999).
  • •Modernize and remediate legacy Java components (version upgrades, dependency/security fixes) with safe migration and rollback plans.
  • •Improve delivery quality via automated tests and CI/CD pipelines, reducing manual QA and operational toil.
  • •Support reliability, performance, and security by troubleshooting production issues and mentoring engineers through standards and coaching.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of Core Java and J2EE enterprise web application development.
  • •Strong object-oriented coding practices and design patterns.
  • •Spring Framework (MVC) and/or Spring Batch experience with high-volume batch processing.
  • •Experience building high-throughput data or file-processing systems with measurable improvements in throughput/latency.
  • •Hands-on EDI/X12 and CMS encounter data processing (EDPS/EDS) or comparable healthcare claims/submission systems; advanced SQL (MS SQL preferred).
