Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to design of plans, calculations, preliminary estimates, and detailed engineering packages for transportation, commercial, institutional, and industrial projects.
  • •Design electrical systems including power distribution, fire alarm, grounding, lightning protection, emergency power, and life safety generator systems.
  • •Support project delivery by preparing technical calculations, specifications, contract documents, and detailed design submissions.
  • •Collaborate with project managers, senior engineers, designers, and 3D modelers to develop permit, tender, and construction deliverables.
  • •Participate in contract administration by reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, and supporting construction-phase services.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • •Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation with PEO or actively pursuing registration.
  • •5 to 8 years of experience designing electrical systems for transportation, commercial, institutional, or industrial projects.
  • •Experience with power distribution, grounding, fire alarm, lightning protection, emergency power, and life safety systems.
  • •Working knowledge of codes and standards including OBC, OESC, CEC, CSA, NFPA, IEEE, and ASHRAE.
