Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out tasks directed by Production Supervision or Trades Trainer within your current competence.
  • •Install fittings and equipment used in the pipe testing and flushing processes.
  • •Verify pipe installation completeness and quality.
  • •Perform hydrostatic and/or pneumatic pipe testing using approved process instructions and risk assessments.
  • •Complete system flushing and other cleanliness procedures to support successful system commissioning.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a Certificate 3 trade qualification.
  • •Have experience with pressure testing and/or flushing/cleaning of piping systems.
  • •Know various types of pipe, hydraulic/air fittings, and connections.
  • •Demonstrate pipe installation process experience and basic schematic drawing knowledge.
  • •Maintain a strong safety focus and excellent timekeeping, communication, and influencing skills.
