  • •Lead preparation of feasibility, preliminary design, and final design cost estimates for multidisciplinary railway projects.
  • •Assess on- and off-site materials, monthly payment certificates, and final accounts; monitor anticipated final project costs and recommend payments ensuring contractual entitlement.
  • •Undertake or review measurement of designs and on-site works completed.
  • •Develop the schedule of rates or Bill of Quantities.
  • •Manage a team of Intermediate Quantity Surveyors and provide cost management/advice to Claims, Contract Management, and Project Management teams to support the project budget goals.

Key Requirements

  • •10 years’ experience, with at least 3+ years within the transport infrastructure industry focusing on multidisciplinary railway projects.
  • •C Eng / BEng / BA / BSc in cost management, quantity surveying, estimating management, or a related discipline.
  • •Clear understanding of construction contract commercial documents, drawings, and specifications.
  • •Strong experience delivering technically complex, high-value infrastructure projects.
  • •Knowledge of cost management principles, methods, techniques/tools (including the standard method of measurement) and policy/procedure implementation.
