Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate ROTHR RADAR system, primarily PC-based platforms to monitor and track surface and air contacts.
  • •Perform ionosphere propagation assessments by manually modeling ionosphere layers using PC-based resources.
  • •Select frequencies by interpreting the ionospheric model and assigning proper RADAR parameters for detection and tracking.
  • •Monitor and modify RADAR resources as necessary and assist tracking software in validating and reporting aircraft and surface contacts.
  • •Monitor and copy external communications information relayed over HF radio links and interact with Agile Client terminal for track data.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • •Three years RADAR Operations or technical school.
  • •Four years of applicable experience.
  • •Experience with Windows 10.
  • •Active and transferable U.S. government issued DoD Secret security clearance prior to start (U.S. citizenship required to obtain security clearance).
