Job Summary

Support the residential solar installation pipeline by completing site assessments before installation and post-install inspections afterward. Follow intraday schedules across local job sites, collect measurements and electrical/structural data, and submit survey documentation using mobile tools. Verify installed systems match approved plans, coordinate with install teams and project managers to resolve inspection issues, and help schedule inspections with the AHJ and customers. Maintain tools and safety readiness, including occasional weekend and extended-shift availability.

Key Responsibilities

•Visit customer homes to collect measurements, photographs, and structural/electrical data required for solar design.
•Assess roof conditions and electrical service panels using standardized tools and protocols.
•Climb ladders, walk rooftops, and conduct attic inspections as required.
•Submit accurate survey data using mobile field tools and perform post-installation inspections for final AHJ/utility readiness.
•Confirm installations match approved plans, coordinate with install teams/project managers on inspection issues, and discuss/schedule inspections with the AHJ and customers.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 25.09 - 33.45

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED.
•Previous PV design, PV installation, or PV electrical experience, including reading blueprints/plans and testing wiring/circuitry (minimum one year of field construction experience preferred).
•Comfortable working on roofs and using ladders, including in tight or elevated spaces.
•Familiarity with basic hand tools, measuring devices, and mobile technology.
•Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license and ability to pass a driving background check (OSHA 10 or 30 preferred).
