Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and manage the delivery of pavement/road projects, including adequacy of design and compliance with standards and legislation.
  • •Own project resource time, cost, and quality for pavement design work.
  • •Conduct pavement design and evaluation using established methods.
  • •Support pavement investigation for maintenance design and failure investigation.
  • •Lead teams and provide people management within the UK GCC Civil team.

Key Requirements

  • •11+ years of professional experience in pavement design and pavement evaluation techniques.
  • •At least 5 years of professional experience in pavement design using AASHTO/DMRB methods.
  • •Ability to design and lead road pavement design projects.
  • •Working knowledge of heavy-duty pavements (including port and airfield) and of concrete and flexible pavement design.
  • •Chartered member or close to achieving chartership status with the UK Engineering Council (ICE or CIHT), with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
