Key Responsibilities

  • •Create simple to medium complexity custom transformer product designs, including detailed layouts, BOMs, detail/assembly, and customer approval drawings.
  • •Maintain product definition data (PDD) and execute engineering changes using ECN, reviewing ECR/CHC requests and interpreting design specs to establish customer requirements.
  • •Provide basic technical support to Marketing for sales inquiries, customer problems, equipment application, and engineering analysis.
  • •Provide technical support and liaison with scheduling, purchasing, manufacturing engineering, production control, quality assurance, and operations to address issues and deviations for custom designs.
  • •Identify and develop enhancements for design automation tools (TDS, KBE) and lead root-cause analysis and resolution of internal/external complaints and non-conformance using 8D methodology.

Key Requirements

  • •BS in Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • •1+ years of design experience with electromechanical systems.
  • •Experience creating and managing bills of materials (BOM) for custom engineering designs.
  • •Demonstrated proficiency with industry drafting and CAD standards, practices, and procedures.
  • •Proficient in ERP-based engineering design management, preferably SAP, and capable of supporting small to medium projects.
