Key Responsibilities

  • •Capture current manufacturing processes, physical constraints, business rules, and decision logic into a 3D simulation-based virtual factory knowledge base.
  • •Create feasible shop floor, warehouse, factory, and supply chain plans and schedules based on resource capacity, materials, and timelines.
  • •Maintain an adaptive, data-driven virtual factory that provides a current status digital reference model for performance and planning.
  • •Own the design of new production lines and work station layouts for low-rate and full-rate production.
  • •Identify process variation, imbalances, and bottlenecks, translating metrics and KPIs into action to improve line health and efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • •Experience with Technomatix “Plant Sim” simulation or equivalent DES tools (e.g., Promodel, FlexSim, Simio), or basic object-oriented programming (Python, R, C++, Java).
  • •Experience working with large data sets and SQL or No-SQL.
  • •Ability to read technical documentation including facility/assembly drawings and manufacturing specifications and procedures.
  • •Ability to work in ambiguity.
