Key Responsibilities

  • •Create quotes for service agreements and quoted work supporting Service Account Managers and Controls Service Account Managers.
  • •Produce cost estimates covering materials, subcontractors, purchased equipment, labor, and construction-related activities.
  • •Develop detailed scope and cost estimates from Account Managers’ design-build scope, including system sketches, scope definition, and exceptions/exclusions.
  • •Identify cost-saving opportunities and potential risk items on projects while staying current with industry standards.
  • •Hold pre-bid meetings with Account Managers to review scope and strategy.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's or Associates degree in engineering, engineering technology, or related study preferred; or 1–3 years of related estimating experience; or 5 years of HVAC Technician experience.
  • •Working knowledge of construction facets including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • •Preferred experience with financial and business acumen and running projects on time and on budget.
  • •Proven ability to prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • •Flexibility to work overtime as required.
