Job Summary

Support transaction leaders in identifying, analysing, and monitoring renewable energy investments. Conduct deal analysis and due diligence by screening opportunities, analysing financial statements and sector data, and performing post-investment monitoring. Assist VP/SVP and project finance teams with transaction components, including data collection, inquiries, and basic legal/commercial documentation. Create investor and board-ready PowerPoint slides and reports, working within a flat investment-focused organization.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform financial modelling and projections for investment management and development teams, and coach/mentor analysts
•Analyse company financial statements, accounts, and sector data; interpret economic/political drivers impacting the renewable energy sector
•Support transactions by running parts of transaction workstreams, managing due diligence timelines, and supporting client/investor inquiries
•Assist with transaction documentation by interpreting/developing basic legal documentation and commercial contracts
•Develop high-quality PowerPoint slides and reports for fundraising, investor, board, shareholder, and corporate presentations

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics or Economics
•6 to 8 years’ experience post-qualification in a relevant field
•Previous experience in Investment Management, Private Equity, Power & Infrastructure is desirable
•Advanced financial modelling proficiency and understanding of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
•Fluent written and spoken English, with strong analytical skills and excellent interpersonal/presentation skills
