Key Responsibilities

  • •Follow safety rules and regulations and complete daily safety assignments (workplace exam, pre-shifts, JSA’s, TRACK).
  • •Maintain safety and quality standards and be familiar with and follow CRH Life Saving Rules.
  • •Operate equipment as needed (including a water truck and skid steer) and perform pre-shift inspections before operation.
  • •Keep plant areas washed out and clean by shoveling or using a high-pressure hose, and assist with cleanup efforts.
  • •Perform plant and quarry area inspections and support a variety of tasks, including maintenance and covering for absent team members.

Key Requirements

  • •Adhere to all safety rules and regulations of MSHA/OSHA/DOT and Pennsy Supply, including completing daily safety assignments.
  • •Maintain personal safety and quality standards and follow CRH Life Saving Rules.
  • •Have mechanical aptitude with maintenance skills; complete OJT and learn MSHA/DEP regulations where applicable.
  • •Be able to work various times during day, night, or weekend hours, and fill in for absent or excused employees.
  • •Submit to a drug screen and criminal background check; have a high school diploma or GED equivalent (previous experience preferred).
