Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and perform risk-based audits, inspections, spot checks, and follow-up reviews assigned by the QAM, using inputs like prior findings, trends, and open corrective actions.
  • •Collect, evaluate, and retain sufficient objective evidence (records, system data, interviews, authorized photographs) and apply sampling and quality criteria to audit tasks.
  • •Create complete and accurate entries in the QC Audits Register, including evidence, results, notes, attachments, follow-up indicators, reviewer data, and closure status.
  • •Evaluate findings to identify non-conformances, repeat issues, risks, and OFIs; initiate or support required CAR/CAP actions and verify implementation, effectiveness, validation, and closure.
  • •Validate controlled publications and document-control requirements (SOPs, WIs, forms, technical references) at point of use and administer the publications lifecycle and SharePoint workflow controls when appointed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •3+ years of progressively responsible experience in supply operations, quality control, auditing, compliance, investigations, records management, or publications/document control.
  • •Working knowledge of Army supply functions (e.g., retail supply/SSA, property book, subsistence, clothing issue, ammunition supply, storage, inventory/receipt/issue/turn-in/accountability).
  • •Ability to interpret and apply PWS/PRS requirements, approved procedures, Army/DoD publications, technical manuals, and ISO 9001:2015-aligned QMS controls.
  • •Demonstrated ability to gather objective evidence, apply sampling/checklist criteria, analyze root causes and trends, and write clear, impartial audit conclusions.
