Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure integrity and reliable operation of facilities critical infrastructure to achieve 99.999% on-air performance.
  • •Operate, maintain, and implement MEPFP systems, including installation/monitoring of BMS, EPMS, and system dashboards.
  • •Manage a union represented staff of approximately 45 engineers and electricians providing 24/7/365 facilities coverage.
  • •Develop and manage operating and capital budgets; review work tickets, productivity, and vendor relationships against KPIs.
  • •Lead incident reviews and root-cause analysis for significant/repeated system failures; develop MOPs and SOPs and support fire life safety operations.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of experience managing critical MEP systems for facilities operations.
  • •Thorough knowledge of MEP and BMS systems and the latest technologies/design philosophies for critical infrastructure.
  • •Understanding of construction projects and methodologies, including drawing review and operational analysis.
  • •Ability to clearly communicate technical information to varied technical audiences and present concise materials.
  • •Must be able to work in New York and, at times, oversee operations in NJ and Washington, DC facilities (with 24/7 availability for emergencies).
