Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop highly reliable, performant GNC algorithms, simulations, tools, services, and dashboards using C++ or Python.
  • •Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.
  • •Perform bulk data analysis to review performance data from Starlink constellation and network elements.
  • •Design and implement onboard GNC algorithms to support vehicle autonomy, fault tolerance, and navigation/control performance across mission phases and off-nominal scenarios.
  • •Run high-fidelity 6DOF modeling and Monte Carlo simulation to validate performance and support HITL testing, including test case design and data review automation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in computer science, aerospace, physics, or an engineering discipline.
  • •Software development experience in C++ or Python.
  • •Experience verifying GNC algorithm performance via simulation and validation of simulation models.
  • •Experience with state estimation, including attitude/orbit determination and navigation (attitude determination, orbit determination, GNSS, and radio navigation).
  • •Strong understanding of orbital mechanics, including low-thrust trajectory optimization and stationkeeping.
