Job Summary

Maintain and repair ammonia refrigeration systems and related equipment, including calibrating and troubleshooting machinery, compressors, and electrical controls. Perform inspections, routine rounds, and preventive maintenance, including isolating and pump-down procedures. Participate in the Process Safety Management (PSM) team and support HAZMAT responsibilities, while complying with safety policies. Work across engine/compressor/roof areas and follow the assigned swing shift schedule in Canton, Georgia.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain, repair, rebuild, and adjust ammonia refrigeration systems and related equipment.
•Analyze, calibrate, replace, repair, and rebuild equipment in accordance with established procedures.
•Comply with company safety policies and participate in the Process Safety Management (PSM) team, including respirator fit testing.
•Perform routine rounds and inspections across the ammonia refrigeration system and safely isolate and pump down system sections.
•Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls, perform routine maintenance on ammonia compressors, and keep engine rooms, compressor rooms, and roof areas clean and organized.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•2-4 years of experience in ammonia or Freon refrigeration, boiler operations, and/or compressed air systems preferred.

•Ability to direct and train operators.
•Must pass CARO and/or CIRO operator certifications, or be willing to obtain certification.
