Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate tow trucks and equipment to move disabled, improperly parked, or non-operational vehicles across the lot.
  • •Safely load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles, including proper affixing and leaving vehicles safe and immobile.
  • •Respond to vehicle recovery/removals/repositioning requests in a timely manner and assist with lot organization for sale, inspection, and customer pickup.
  • •Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, perform routine maintenance checks on tow trucks and front-end loaders, and maintain accurate logs/records.
  • •Use TC75 to scan and document towed vehicles at delivery locations, assist with towing, jump-starting, and unlocking as requested, and perform other duties assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED plus 5 years’ experience in a related field (or alternative combinations such as 3 years with a relevant certification/degree, or 7 years experience).
  • •Valid driver’s license and completion of DOT Driver Qualification file, plus a pre-hire physical for a DOT medical card.
  • •Safe driving ability; rollback tow truck experience and 1–3 years of experience driving a service/tow truck or front-end loader.
  • •Experience on a wheel lift and some forklift experience.
  • •Physical ability to sit for prolonged periods, walk long distances, perform frequent bending/climbing motions, and lift 1–30 pounds.
