Key Responsibilities

•Reinforce didactic content, teaching the knowledge and skills needed for pre-licensure nursing
•Collaborate with content area faculty to provide expert evaluation and documentation of student progress toward clinical objectives
•Participate in grading written and clinical performance check-offs
•Remain current with new trends and development in the specific field of nursing practice
•Travel to GCU student sites, directly observing student performance

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•BSN required; must enroll in an MSN Leadership or MSN Education program immediately upon hire (paid for by GCU) or provide proof of graduate credits/ national certification related to the taught content.
•BSN with proof of at least 9 credits/3 classes in any graduate program or approved national certification related to the content area being taught.
•3 years' recent clinical work experience in Pediatrics nursing with a BSN
•Active, current, unencumbered RN license in multi-state (compact)
•Must pass a drug test and competency testing
