Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure regulatory compliance by reviewing and applying SSE procedures and legal requirements
  • •Conduct inspections, audits and field follow-ups to ensure SSE standards and safe work practices
  • •Design and deploy SSE training programs and contribute to continuous improvement of SSE practices and tools
  • •Identify, analyse and mitigate risks in collaboration with managers and project teams
  • •Support SSE management system implementation through audits, documentation, and corrective actions, and participate in incident investigations

Salary: CAD 69,700 - 92,300 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations, Human Resources or Engineering with SSE certification, or a DEC in Environment, Hygiene and Occupational Health & Safety (EHST)
  • •5-8 years of experience in a similar SSE role including responsibility for inspections, audits and risk analysis
  • •Valid driver's license and eligibility for vehicle rental
  • •Good knowledge of SSE laws and standards (LSST, RSST)
  • •Bilingualism in French and English; ability to work with anglophone clients/partners
