Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide L2 support for incident, request, change, and problem management for server and DB operations on Windows and Unix operating systems.
  • •Participate in major incidents and ensure SLA for incidents and service requests while meeting KPIs such as breach case target, MTTR, and escalation targets.
  • •Install and upgrade firmware, apply patches, implement required changes, and diagnose/resolve OS and hardware errors to maintain high availability of MFG systems.
  • •Monitor server performance proactively, analyze cases to prevent recurring issues, and enhance monitoring/alerting to reduce noise.
  • •Develop operational procedures and reports/dashboards, perform capacity planning, participate in disaster recovery drills, and build automation for system health checks and routine maintenance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics/Computer/Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
  • •Academic know-how or internship experience in IT infrastructure, including Microsoft Windows 2016/2019, RHEL, Microsoft SQL, Oracle, and virtualization technologies.
  • •Familiarity with hardware/virtualization technologies such as Cisco UCS, HPE ProLiant, VMware, Nutanix, OpenShift, and Citrix.
  • •Desire to learn and knowledge of scripting/programming languages like Java, PowerShell, and Python (preferred).
  • •Effective oral and written communication skills, with flexibility to work 12-hour shifts.
