Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with detailed design of low- to extra-high-voltage substations, including physical substation design and Protection & Control (P&C) design.
  • •Support system protection and relaying activities, including substation relaying, transmission line relaying, and distribution coordination studies.
  • •Assist with design of overhead and underground electric distribution systems up to 25kV and support transmission line project design up to 230kV.
  • •Participate in QA/QC reviews of engineering deliverables and support successful project execution with engineers, designers, project managers, and utility clients.
  • •Develop technical calculations, reports, drawings, and documentation according to applicable codes, standards, and client requirements, while managing multiple projects and priorities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (BSEE) or electrical engineering technology (BSEET) from an ABET-accredited university, preferably with a power systems emphasis.
  • •0-2 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • •Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and power system concepts.
  • •Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • •Legally authorized to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship; valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
