Install and remove molds and lines/fixtures for molding machines, and maintain the condition of molding equipment. Follow safety rules, work instructions, and work order processes while supporting production and quality standards. Prepare molds by installing components, connecting water and hydraulic lines, installing nozzles and heat blocks, and performing cleaning and repairs. Transport and rig molds using overhead cranes and forklifts, and report safety issues.

Key Responsibilities

•Install and remove molds and lines/fixtures for molding machines; maintain molds and molding equipment.
•Follow safety rules, work instructions, and work order processes; perform all duties safely and report/correct safety issues.
•Install molds into machines using set procedures (e.g., water/hydraulic connections, nozzles/heat blocks, clamping/fastening).
•Clean and repair molding nozzles and wire heater bands; install/remove inserts for molds as scheduled.
•Transport and rig molds using overhead crane and forklift; maintain cleanliness, safety, and functionality of mold components and tools.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma (or equivalent); further education in manufacturing is a plus.
•Good computer skills with a willingness to learn new applications.
•Ability to read work orders and labels and understand all contents.
•Ability to direct a team effectively and communicate/teamwork skills.
•Ability to perform physical demands and lift up to 40 lbs; ability to obtain forklift, crane, and lockout/tagout certifications.
