Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide oversight to bridge staff on plan development, project scope, design changes, and budget/schedule.
  • •Mentor, train, and develop bridge department staff, including mid-year and year-end reviews.
  • •Lead the most complex and largest-scale structural engineering projects, including budgets, monitoring performance/profitability, and supervising subcontractors and employees.
  • •Drive long-term strategy, growth, and pipeline development for structural engineering work, with an infrastructure opportunity focus.
  • •Lead technical proposals and proposals-related business development, oversee contract negotiation and compliance with engineering/design/construction regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or closely related discipline.
  • •15+ years of relevant post-education experience in engineering, structural/civil and infrastructure design.
  • •Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
  • •Demonstrated ability establishing, implementing, and managing multiple larger-scale discipline-related programs, documents, projects, and practices.
  • •Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills with ability to manage staff and interact effectively at all organizational levels.
