Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect, develop, govern, and continuously refine the Gulf Air Corporate Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and associated operational checklists, ensuring integration across departments.
  • •Exercise delegated authority to manage corporate crisis readiness, activate ERP protocols, chair ERP governance, and establish escalation and return-to-normal transition processes.
  • •Set up and standardize localised Emergency Response Plans for all airports, define station-level activation triggers/command structures, and ensure station readiness via audits and verification.
  • •Oversee Family Assistance and humanitarian response readiness, including Family Assistance Team frameworks, emergency contact center operations, and compliant family support workflows.
  • •Own the corporate Emergency Operations Centre (EOC)/Crisis Management Centre (CMC) preparedness, lead ERP training/exercises/debriefs, and drive closed-loop corrective actions into Safety Risk Management.

  • •Architect, govern, train, exercise, and continuously improve Gulf Air’s Corporate Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and related checklists to meet international best practices.
  • •Manage emergency readiness by activating ERP protocols, chairing ERP governance, and providing audit/readiness gap assessments for leadership review.
  • •Establish and maintain Station Emergency Response Plans, including activation triggers, command structures, and training for Station ERP Leads across the network.
  • •Oversee Family Assistance and humanitarian response readiness, including rapid Family Assistance Centre stand-up protocols and secure emergency contact center operations.
  • •Ensure compliance with Bahrain CAA regulations, ICAO Annex 19/Doc 9998, IATA IOSA Standards, and applicable data privacy and family assistance obligations during crises.
