Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide personal financial counseling and management services directly to service members and their families.
  • •Assist service members in establishing a spending plan for extended absences.
  • •Develop and disseminate informational financial materials for service members and families.
  • •Coordinate, publicize and conduct Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle.
  • •Use virtual counseling or other electronic modes (web-based chat, video, secure videoconference) for PFC services as authorized.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 58,440 - 93,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience
  • •U.S. citizen and fluent in English (bilingual in English and Spanish optional)
  • •One of AFC, CFP, or ChFC certifications
  • •Ability to obtain a favorable DoD security clearance (Tier 2) and pass OCI disclosures
