Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop roadway lighting design packages for highway improvement projects.
  • •Contribute to alternative delivery project designs and collaborations on megaprojects.
  • •Utilize AGi32 or Visual Lighting Design software, along with MicroStation and OpenRoads, to create and refine lighting designs.
  • •Serve as Task Lead or Subject Matter Expert on lighting projects and mentor junior designers.
  • •Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integration, quality, and compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •BS in Engineering or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
  • •BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience for Junior level engineers (or demonstrated equivalency)
  • •BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience for Mid-Level engineers (or demonstrated equivalency)
  • •BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience for Senior Level engineers / Task Leads (or demonstrated equivalency)
  • •Preferred: EIT Certification or PE License; Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; State DOT experience
